Today at Modern School, Civil Lines, Jhansi. English and Hindi Recitation competition was held for classes nursery to UKG. Children recited poem beautifully by using different types of props. It was a marvelous performance given by them. The purpose of poetry recitation in a classroom is to enjoy and appreciate the poem by reciting it loud. The key step in learning any language is to read, understand and appreciate the beauty of the language through its literary works. Recitation activities help students to build confidence as they learn to speak more accurately and persuasively about any piece of writing. All the winners ??were felicitated by giving them Medals, certificates and chocolates.??
